The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Group
Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in influence within the urban setting.
Note: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.
The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed
The latest chapter concluded with a dramatic pause and presented the premier party of characters who will split off from the main group to embark on their separate journey, distinct from the additional parties.
The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).
Dividing the Cast
With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.
This explains, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.
What Defines the Combat Party
As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.
At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear mismatched, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.
Why They Must Go
For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.
A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and stealing all the powerful objects to sell off.
The traitor then cleared his debts and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, north of Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.
Character Drivers
Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, seeks revenge.
- The adventurer is familiar with the region and warns that it is a nasty location.
- The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the party enter locations they normally couldn’t.
- Additionally, Teor pledged a life debt to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.
Fugitives
Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:
- The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
- The strong figure and Wicander defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
- The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.
This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in search of the traitor.
